Katie Marsh
Co-Founder, CEO
Katie has over 10+ years of experience in investing and operating.
Katie was previously an early employee of Field, a grid-scale battery developer. As Head of Corporate Development, Katie was responsible for driving the international expansion, acquisitions, and fundraising strategy, raising just under $0.5bn in equity and first-of-a-kind debt. Field is now a CVC DIF-backed business.
Prior to Field, Katie was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan after which she refocused her career into purpose-driven organisations, supporting & driving the launch of two impact funds, before joining Field.
Julien Vaissette
Co-Founder, CTO
Julien has a PhD in metal wire microstructure and mechanical behaviour, one of 5 people in the world to study this topic. This expertise is pivotal for unlocking Recupere’s technological innovation.
Prior to Recupere, Julien co-founded Ambre, a company designing a powertrain for light electric vehicles, with second-life batteries and an induction motor. This was a first of a kind circular concept in France.
